Colour Selection[edit]

Tiles on the next may use up to 16 colours from a palette of 256. A tiles palette can effectively be split into blocks of 16 colours, and a tile can use any one of those blocks.

Use the spin box to select which block of 16 colours you want to use.

Left click on a colour to select it as the primary (indicated by a number 1)

Right click on a colour to select it as the secondary (indicated by a number 2)

Double click a colour to edit it in the colour editor.

Each tile can be assigned a set of properites:

  • Solid Edges - select which sides (top, left, bottom or right) are solid.
  • Deadly/Harmful - Indicates that this tile has some negative side effect.
  • Collectible - A collictible object with some positive side effect.
  • Value/Weight - A numerical value that can be used when, for instance, collecting energy.

For the time being, these are stored in the project, but unused by any other feature.
