This is the main drawing area, using the left mouse button performs actions using the primary colour, the right mouse button uses the secondary colour. The middle mouse button selectes the colour under the cursor.
Tiles on the next may use up to 16 colours from a palette of 256. A tiles palette can effectively be split into blocks of 16 colours, and a tile can use any one of those blocks.
Use the spin box to select which block of 16 colours you want to use.
Left click on a colour to select it as the primary (indicated by a number 1)
Right click on a colour to select it as the secondary (indicated by a number 2)
Double click a colour to edit it in the colour editor.
Each tile can be assigned a set of properites:
- Solid Edges - select which sides (top, left, bottom or right) are solid.
- Deadly/Harmful - Indicates that this tile has some negative side effect.
- Collectible - A collictible object with some positive side effect.
- Value/Weight - A numerical value that can be used when, for instance, collecting energy.
For the time being, these are stored in the project, but unused by any other feature.
